History
Music and Event Management, Inc. (MEMI) was incorporated in 2001 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the renowned Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. As the leading promoter of live entertainment in Southwest Ohio, MEMI is the result of a unique combination of innovative leadership and experienced professionals who excel in the creation, booking, producing, and marketing of first-class, live entertainment experiences and events.
Current venues/produced events include Riverbend Music Center, The Andrew J Brady Music Center, The ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park, PNC Pavilion, Stuart and Mimi Rose Music Center at the Heights, The Taft Theatre, The Ballroom at the Taft Theatre, The Longworth Anderson Series at Memorial Hall, and Cincy Cinco Latino Festival. Past events have included Tall Stacks, Jammin on Main Cincinnati, MidPoint Music Festival, and Lumenocity.
MEMI has been a leader in the development of artists in Southwest Ohio presenting new, established, and rising stars on a regular basis at The Ballroom at The Taft. Including, but not limited to, Jason Isbell, Cage the Elephant, Glass Animals, Jon Pardi, The Steeldrivers, Puddles Pity Party, Tank and the Bangas, Anders Osborne, The Wood Brothers, and many others. MEMI remains committed to bringing the best fan experience that entertainment has to offer across Southwest Ohio from developing artists to established superstars.
MEMI provides a wide variety of experience in service and consultation; venue design and construction; event production and facility management including marketing, sponsor acquisition, talent buying, event ticketing, and concept development.
